Properly equipped, the 2027 Navigator tows up to 8,700 pounds, but that headline figure requires 4X4 along with the available Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package on 22-inch wheels. Order 24-inch wheels and the 4X4 rating becomes 8,500 pounds for the standard wheelbase and 8,400 pounds for the Navigator L.
Because 4X2 is now the standard drivetrain, the base numbers matter: a rear-drive Navigator tows up to 6,200 pounds, and the Navigator L 4X2 is rated at 6,600 pounds. The Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package adds a trailer brake controller and Slow Climb drive mode and is available on every trim.
