One engine covers the whole 2027 Aviator range: a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 making 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, rated on premium fuel to the SAE J1349 standard. It pairs with a ten-speed SelectShift automatic, and Lincoln puts the run to 60 mph at 5.9 seconds.

Rear-wheel drive is standard and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is available on every trim. Adaptive Suspension with pothole mitigation is standard across the range, and the Dynamic Handling Package on Reserve and Black Label swaps in Air Glide Suspension with Dynamic Lower Entry. EPA-estimated ratings are 17 city, 25 highway and 20 combined with rear-wheel drive, and 17, 24 and 20 with all-wheel drive.

The Aviator runs the Lincoln Digital Experience on a 13.2-inch center touchscreen with a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster ahead of the driver, and a 5.8-inch touchscreen gives the second row its own controls. The system is Google-based, with Google built in for voice, Google Maps for navigation and Google Play for apps.

A 5G-capable embedded modem supports the Wi-Fi hotspot and over-the-air updates, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are along for the ride. Audio climbs by trim: the Premiere runs a ten-speaker Lincoln Premium system with a subwoofer, the Reserve makes the 14-speaker Revel system standard, and Black Label ships the 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D.

Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard on the Premiere, the Reserve and Black Label. Among the features Lincoln groups under it are Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, the Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, a Lane-Keeping System and Reverse Brake Assist, which watches for objects behind the vehicle at speeds up to 37 mph.

Lincoln BlueCruise is included for four years on all 2027 Aviator models, and it handles automatic lane changes. Hands-free driving works on the divided highways Lincoln has prequalified as Blue Zones, it asks the driver to keep watching the road, and it requires an active plan or trial. The standard Class III Trailer Tow Package adds the Blind Spot Information System with Trailer Coverage and trailer sway control.

Second-row captain's chairs with a mini console seat six, and the available 35/30/35 bench takes the Aviator to seven. The third row is a PowerFold 50/50 split that powers down flat on every trim. Cargo runs 16.5 cubic feet behind the third row, 39.9 behind the second and 75.9 behind the first, inside 140.6 cubic feet of passenger volume.

Climate is tri-zone on the Premiere and quad-zone on the Reserve and Black Label. The Reserve brings premium leather through the first two rows, heated and ventilated front seats and a standard panoramic Vista Roof, and its Luxury Package adds 30-way Perfect Position seats with Active Motion massage, the 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D system and heated and ventilated second-row seats. Black Label makes that content standard and adds three themes: Invitation, Flight and Moonbeam.

Wheels start at 20 inches on the Premiere, the Reserve moves to 21 inches standard with three 22-inch choices, and Black Label fits 22-inch bright-machined wheels with Ebony-painted pockets. The Illumination Package on the Reserve brings the Illuminated Lincoln Star and Adaptive Pixel LED Headlamps, both standard on Black Label.
