Lincoln rates the hybrid at 310 maximum horsepower, and that is a combined figure covering the high-output turbocharged 2.0-liter and the 100-kW electric motor working together. It is the stronger of the two Nautilus powertrains, and it drives through a continuously variable transmission.

This is a conventional hybrid, not a plug-in. The battery refills itself through regenerative braking and the engine, so there is no cord, no charging stop and no home wallbox to budget for. All-wheel drive is standard, as it is on every Nautilus, and the fuel tank holds 20 gallons.

The hybrid gets the same cabin technology as the rest of the range, starting with the 48-inch panoramic display that runs the full width of the dashboard and anchors the Lincoln Digital Experience. Google is built in for voice, maps and apps, and the system takes updates over the air rather than waiting for a service visit.

Four years of the Lincoln Connectivity Package come standard, covering embedded Google Maps, Google apps, voice assistance and an unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot. Revel audio is standard on the Reserve at 14 speakers, and Black Label steps up to the 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D.

BlueCruise 1.5 comes with every 2027 Nautilus, hybrid included, with four years of it in the price. The 1.5 version adds automatic lane changes to Lincoln's hands-free highway driving, which works on the divided highways Lincoln has prequalified as Blue Zones. It needs an active plan or trial, and the driver stays responsible for watching the road.

Four years of the Lincoln Security Package are standard on all three trims for 2027, covering Start Inhibit, Theft Alerts and Stolen Vehicle Services through the Lincoln app. On the ownership side, the hybrid-unique components carry an eight-year, 100,000-mile warranty on top of the four-year, 50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and six-year, 70,000-mile powertrain coverage.

Choosing the hybrid does not change the shape of the cabin. It seats five across two rows with 43.1 inches of second-row legroom, and the cargo hold matches the gas car's on the same trim: 71.3 cubic feet behind the first row and 36.4 behind the second on the Premiere, 68.8 and 35.2 on the Reserve and Black Label.

Lincoln Rejuvenate is the feature worth knowing about here. It combines visuals, audio, seat position and climate into a five- to ten-minute reset, and Lincoln commissioned a Purdue engineering study, published in Applied Ergonomics, in which 98% of participants preferred the multisensory experience to the control. It runs only with the vehicle in Park, and Lincoln asks that it not be used in a closed garage. The Renew Package on Reserve 200A pairs it with 24-way Perfect Position seats.

The 2027 exterior work applies to the hybrid exactly as it does to the gas car. A wider, more detailed grille sits below a redesigned hood, the fenders have been resculpted, and new signature lighting connects the headlamps to a slimmer set of taillamps with the Lincoln badge centered.

Nocturnal Blue joins the palette across the range for 2027, and Black Label buyers can order Frosted Fig, a plum-purple reserved for that trim. Wheels run from 19 to 22 inches across five designs depending on trim, and the Jet Appearance Package brings a glossy black grille and blacked-out exterior accents to any of the three trims.
